Changing a Resource into a different Resource.
Resources can be released as a different “Resource”. This makes it possible to indicate particular conditions to parts of the simulation.

To specify that more than one of a particular Resource is required for a task at an Activity, use the Detail dialog.
In the Min box specify the minimum number required (this defaults to 1 and there is no need to use this dialog if you simply need one Resource of each type specified at the Activity). Using More Resources
If an Activity can complete a task more quickly when it can use additional Resources (for example labor) on the task, then you can tell an Activity to try to use more Resources if they are available.

We use Resources to constrain an Activity, i.e. so that something in your process cannot happen if the relevant Resource is unavailable. At the moment, our Activities can run whenever a Work Item is ready to pass through. We can change this so that a Resource is required at an Activity.
