Retention of personal information

If you share simulations while using Simul8 Online, you as a user, decide how long to have the simulation live on your account and who to share this with. If a user terminates their use of Simul8 Online, then we will provide the user with access to all information stored for the user by Simul8 Online, for export by the customer according to our agreement with our customer. After termination, we may, unless legally prohibited, delete all customer information, from Simul8 Online.

If you have elected to receive marketing communications from us, we retain information about your marketing preferences for a reasonable period of time from the date you last expressed interest in our content, products, or services, such as when you last opened an email from us or ceased using your Simul8 products or services. We retain information derived from cookies and other tracking technologies for a reasonable period of time from the date such information was created.

Simul8 Online allows any company that uses it (our users and Simul8 Corporation itself) to build and upload simulations and relevant supporting information. The information added to Simul8 Online is stored and managed on Amazon Web Services' servers. This information is then used to understand and improve the user experience of the platform and collect usage statistics.

Use by our users

Our customers use Simul8 Online to build simulations that they can use to learn more about their business. Simul8 Corporation does not control the content of these simulations or the types of information that our users may choose to share using Simul8 Online. Simul8 Corporation processes our users information as they direct and in accordance with our agreements with our users, and we store it on Amazon Web Services' servers. Our agreements with our users prohibit us from using that information, except as necessary to provide and improve Simul8 Online, as permitted by this Privacy Policy, and as required by law.

8. Use of the Simul8 Community Forum
