Templates - Pick and Pack Line

This template lets you alter the characteristics of a 10 station pick and pack operation.

You can alter conveyor speed and lengths, operator times, work volumes, and picks per order by using the spreadsheet that will appear on model open. The spreadsheet is designed to let you enter operator working speeds, so you can assess skilled vs unskilled staff.

If you want to go back to make any alteration to the data you inpout then you can use the Change Parameters menu.

Expanding the operation is designed to be straightforward, so you can make any alterations you need. If you want alterations to be made and don't want to do them then please contact us at with details of what alterations are required so we can tell you how long it will take and how much it wil cost.

Suggested alterations are:
- Introduce racking and shelving for the objects to be packed
- Introduce operator walk times introduce stock out rules introduce stock replenishment
- Introduce shift patterns, packer absence, learning efficiencies
- Introduce dispatch times (orders to be complete by time X)
- Introduce dispatch waves (orders arrive in bulk in the mail)
