Custom Reports Revamped
Custom Reports have been dramatically improved to make it much easier to rapidly build your own report.

- Store multiple copy points rather than just the last one created to build mini templates

- Default financial costs and revenue information for every object giving you powerful financial statistics.

Access Object Properties in Debug Mode |
You can now access and even change simulation object properties as you step through and debug your Visual Logic.
This makes it easy to verify values but also lets you make dynamic changes as the simulation runs.

Schedule your own events to happen when you want them:
- Have multiple Time Checks running on different intervals and starting at different times.
- Run one off Visual Logic events, for example an Emergency break down without using complicated Schedule Visual Logic Event commands.

We have extended the power and usability of this feature.
Local and global variables are now imported as well as all referenced code sections.
Simulation building can easily be shared between different people using this feature. This makes it easy for multiple people to work on the same simulation at the same time.

SIMUL8 now includes Data Grids. We think it's one of the most significant features we've added to SIMUL8.

Setting up lots of Visual Logic to dynamically change images based on what's happening in your simulation is tedious. Image Variable Lists make it easy!
- Store a series of images in a list and assign them a numerical values and assign them a global variable.
- SIMUL8 changes the image automatically as the variable value changes.
- Apply to all simulation objects, components, sub-windows and onscreen images.
Image Lists help you create exciting animated simulations quickly and easily.

This is a simple feature with lots of potential, use it to create lots of compelling animated displays and even your own bar charts.

The Quick Launch Panel let's you quickly and easily create interfaces for your simulations.
- Add buttons to open charts, dialogs, custom reports or run your own Visual Logic.
- Any text descriptions and hover tips to the button to instruct users on how to use your simulation.

- Get the position and distance between points quickly and easily
- Ruler is transparent so you can see what's underneath

- Color picker from the formula editor to quickly find the color code you need

Focus in on areas of your simulation at design and run time. The magnifier follows your mouse cursor as it moves. Ideal for:
- See the high level view of your complicated simulation without loosing the detail of the animation

The new Paddle lets you build a simulation even more rapidly than before.
Click an object and select objects to create a link to from the Paddle.

Sub-windows are a fantastic way to create hide away parts of your simulation but ensure they can be seen when you need them.
We've further improved them to allow you to create more animated displays for them when they're not open. Attach Image Lists to change the icon used for the Sub-Window as your simulation runs.
We've also made lots of small improvements like making sub-window icons selectable to make them quicker and easier to use.

Get access to simulation object results quickly and easily. Just hover the mouse over the object and the results are displayed. Fantastic for when you're demonstrating your simulation to others.
