SIMUL8 is certified as compatible with the following third party software products. SIMUL8 Corporation supports compatibility with these products for all users on current software maintenance contracts:

  • Microsoft Excel version 5.0 (1993) and newer
  • Microsoft Word version 1995 (7.0) and newer
  • Microsoft Visio 2002 and newer
  • Visio 5.0 (Visio Corporation)
  • Visual Basic 6.0 and newer
  • VBA for applications (all publicly released versions)
  • All ODBC compliant SQL database products (SIMUL8 Professional only)
  • Microsoft Access 7.0 and newer (SIMUL8 Professional only)
  • Stat::Fit
  • OptQuest from Opttec
  • MiniTab 13.0 and newer
  • All COM compatible software (ie applications that can use Window COM to communicate with SIMUL8)
  • All DDE compatible software (ie applications that can use Window DDE to communicate with SIMUL8)
