I am a SIMUL8 Standard User

SIMUL8 Standard is being discontinued – what does this mean for me?
We are no longer selling SIMUL8 Standard but we will continue to support our Standard users as per the license agreement. SIMUL8 Standard edition entitles you to free feature support for the life of the software version when you register your software.

I am a Standard user with Annual Maintenance - will I still get upgrades and feature support?
Yes Standard users on Annual Maintenance will continue to be supported and receive annual upgrades for the duration of their contract.

If the product is getting discontinued why will there still be upgrades?
Our Educational users will continue to use SIMUL8 Standard so upgrades will be developed for both them and Standard users on annual maintenance.

I have an older version of Standard and do not have Annual Maintenance, can I upgrade to latest version of Standard?
We are no longer providing Standard upgrades to users not on Annual Maintenance. You can upgrade to the current version of SIMUL8 Professional, or why not contact a member of our sales team to discuss your options

I am considering upgrading to SIMUL8 Professional - what can you offer me?
Contact a member of our sales team who will be happy to tell you more about SIMUL8 Professional, and the deals we have on for Standard users right now.

I am a SIMUL8 Educational User - how will this affect me?
It won't. SIMUL8 Educational Student licenses will still be supported with upgrades as before. If you have any questions, please contact your account manager.

I was going to buy SIMUL8 Standard - what are my options now?
Our two products are now SIMUL8 Basic and SIMUL8 Professional.

Is SIMUL8 Basic the same as SIMUL8 Standard?
No. Many of the advanced features that were in SIMUL8 Standard have been removed to make SIMUL8 Basic the easiest entry level simulation software package available.
